Corlis Cottage sits on a soft rise outside Ballinamore, looking out over the kind of patchwork green that Leitrim does best. Inside: stone walls warmed by a cast-iron stove, a kitchen made for long, lazy breakfasts, and bedrooms layered in honest Irish linen.
We've spent years quietly restoring it — keeping every original beam and lime-washed wall, while folding in the small comforts that turn a holiday into a remedy.

Everything you need to settle in fast and unwind slowly. No pretense, no plastic; just well-chosen pieces that work.
Corlis Cottage is a five-minute drive into Ballinamore for groceries, pubs and good coffee. The Leitrim Blueway is a stroll away — perfect for an early morning walk along the canal — and the lakes of Lough Allen and Carrick-on-Shannon are right next door for paddling, fishing or a long lunch by the water.
"We arrived frazzled and left transformed. The stove crackled, the coffee was perfect, and the hot tub at midnight under all those stars… unforgettable."
"Honestly the most thoughtfully kept cottage we've ever rented. The kids loved the games room and we loved the espresso machine. Absolutely a return trip."
"A proper hidden gem. Walking distance to the Blueway, ten minutes to a great pub, and Corlis itself is so peaceful you forget what day it is."
